GAMMA Pickleball’s First Long Handled Paddle: The Compass LH

Do you use the two-hand backhand? Are you more comfortable playing with two hands?

The newest GAMMA Pickleball paddle, the Compass LH features a longer handle for players that like to hit all types of shots using two hands. Similar to the Compass, Shard, and Legend, the Compass LH uses the NeuCore Technology, a 25% thicker large-celled core, providing a quiet, soft, and responsive feel.

The Compass LH was released at the 2019 USAPA National Championships in Indian Wells, CA this past fall. Many players were excited to try out this new paddle, because of the unique handle. Because of a light weight and smaller face, some were unsure about the performance of the paddle.GAMMA Pickleball Contracted Player and tennis player, Spencer Smith, explained that the small face is not an issue during play. “It’s so much more like a tennis racquet for me. I love it!” Other contracted players also enjoy the lighter weight of the paddle, explaining that it allows players to maneuver faster at the net in one hand and a full- grip on the backhand. The extra support on the snap lets a player hit the ball harder!

The textured graphite face enhances your paddle with added spin and control, and the elongated shape provides an extra inch while maintaining great balance. As with all of the GAMMA Pickleball paddles, the Compass LH has the signature Honeycomb Cushion grip to provide comfort and tackiness for a secure confident grip.
