It's time for another employee highlight for the GAMMA Getting to Know Us series. As Executive Vice President, Molly has worked in various areas within the organization, including Marketing, Operations, Finance and HR. Read more below to learn more about Molly and some of her hobbies!
What is your current position at GAMMA Sports and how long have you worked here?
I’ve been at GAMMA Sports about 4 ½ years and am currently the Executive Vice President
How did you come to work with GAMMA? Have you gone through any position changes during your time here?
About five years ago I was looking to make a change from the grocery/CPG industry that I had been a part of for 20 plus years and was fortunate to come on board with GAMMA as the Vice President of Marketing. My role within the organization has evolved to include Operations, Finance and HR.
What’s your favorite part of working at GAMMA?
The people that I get to work with every day
Do you play pickleball or tennis?
I play Pickleball but not very well. I have taken some lessons and am working on improving my game.
Where did you grow up? Are you a native to Pittsburgh?
I grew up in Connellsville, a very small town about an hour outside of Pittsburgh but have been living in the city for 25 years
Where did you go to college and what was your major?
I attended Indiana University of PA as a business and marketing major and received an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh
I know you like taking weekend trips. What are some of your favorite places to travel locally?
- I love the Laurel Highlands area with so many options for outdoor fun
- Western New York is great for skiing in the winter at Holiday Valley and enjoying time at Lake Chautauqua during the summer
- When I really want to get away and unplug, I love to spend time at our family hunting cabin in central PA – no wifi or phone service!
It really seems like you love the outdoors! What are some of your favorite outdoor activities?
I love to hike and ski with my two daughters, fly fishing with my husband, and biking the trails with friends.
Do you have a favorite place that you like to ski? Is there one place that you would like to travel to go skiing?
I spend most winter weekends skiing locally in the Laurel Highlands. My favorite travel destination for skiing is Crested Butte Colorado and someday I would love to ski in New Zealand and Europe
Moving on from the outdoorsy things! I also heard you love to read and see live music. What is the current book that you’re reading? Also, what are the top three artists that you have seen live?
Current book….I’m actually in the middle of three books right now:

- Blue Ocean Strategy
- The Grateful Dead
- Allman Brother’s Band
- Tedeschi Trucks Band
If you had one day to do whatever you wanted, what would you do?
Spend the day skiing with my family and friends, followed by spa time and then live music with my husband
What’s one piece of advice you wish someone had shared with you when you were younger?
Don’t be afraid to take risks
