The GAMMA Pickleball Classic is back September 12-15, 2024
At GAMMA Sports, we are thrilled to share that the GAMMA Pickleball Classic is back and better than ever in 2024. The 8 th annual GAMMA Pickleball Classic will kick off Thursday, September 12 and run through Sunday, September 15. You can expect the same tournament-style gameplay that you’ve experience in previous years, but in a new, outdoor location! The 2024 tournament will take place at the Washington’s Landing pickleball courts in Pittsburgh, PA and there will be 16 courts available for outdoor play. Don’t miss the opportunity to close out the summer with us at the GAMMA Pickleball Classic.

What else is new in 2024?
The tournament being held on outdoor pickleball courts is not the only change coming in 2024. This year’s GAMMA Pickleball Classic will feature plenty of activities and entertainment for players and spectators. We will have a variety of food trucks on-site throughout the tournament, as well as vendors and entertainment to keep you busy between games.
We’re excited to share that there will be FREE PARKING on Washington’s Landing for participants and spectators throughout the GAMMA Pickleball Classic.
What is the GAMMA Pickleball Classic?
The GAMMA Pickleball Classic is an annual pickleball tournament featuring various styles of tournament play over the course of four days. Players with beginner to professional skillsets will face off in doubles throughout the tournament, with a $1,000 Moneyball tournament for co-ed teams. In addition to the pickleball tournament, we’ll have entertainment, food trucks, and outdoor activities for you and your teammates to enjoy.
We are proud to be hosting the Western PA Collegiate Showcase, powered by DUPR. This showcase will give college-aged pickleball players a chance to show off their skills in an outdoor pickleball tournament.
We are also proud to host a Special Olympics Showcase in partnership with Special Olympics Pennsylvania.

Thursday, September 12: Men's and Women's Doubles - ages 60+
Friday, September 13: Men's and Women's Doubles - ages under 60
Saturday, September 14 (daytime): Mixed Doubles - all ages
Saturday, September 14 (evening): $1,000 Moneyball - open co-ed event
Sunday, September 15 (daytime): Western PA Collegiate Showcase powered by DUPR
Sunday, September 15 (evening): Special Olympics Showcase
*Amateur events are limited to 12 teams per bracket.
How does the GAMMA Pickleball Classic work?
If you have never participated in a pickleball tournament or are not familiar with tournament-style play – don’t worry! All you need to do is register and show up – we’ll take care of the rest!
All amateur play will be round robin (pool play) with playoffs. All teams/players will play a minimum of 4 games. Round robins will consist of a minimum of 4 teams and a maximum of 6 teams. Top 4 teams/players will advance to a playoff. If a bracket consists of more than 2 pools of 6 teams/players, there is a potential for 6 teams/players to advance to playoffs. Scoring for round robin will be 1 to 15 by 2. Medal matches will be 2/3 to 11 by 2.

Please keep in mind that tournament registrations for the GAMMA Pickleball Classic will be managed on a first come, first registered basis. This means that division limits may change throughout the tournament registration process. Please register for your bracket and we will slot you in accordingly.
